When a close friend of mine had been diagnosed with cancer, their family and ours were devastated and heartbroken. I decided to draw a portrait of that friend doing what he loved to do most; playing the guitar. The look of joy when I gave the portrait to the family inspired me to continue giving back to my community through art. Creating this project has brought me so much joy, and I'd love to continue bringing smiles to the faces of my community. I want to uplift the people in our world, honor their hard work, and allow special memories to be made with each other.
